Featured Comedian: Comedian Willie Webb
ESCAPE RADIO NETWORK FEATURED COMEDIAN FOR AUGUST 2011: COMEDIAN WILLIE WEBB
With Escape Radio Network beginning a tradition of featuring up and coming comedians, we could think of no one else to start with other than The Escape Show’s own, Comedian Willie Webb. Willie joined the Escape show in 2009 on Episode 61, replacing the departing Steve and bringing a brand new flavor to the show. Willie immediately began bringing his comedic talents to the table by assisting with the writing of brand new segments such as “Name That Race”, “Ask the Black Dude”, and “Letters To My Baby Mamas”. Willie went on to start his own spin off show on Escape Radio Network entitled “Class Clown Radio” with fellow comedians Cleveland James, Ryan “Da Damn Fool”, and Yusef Ali. In addition to his role on The Escape Show and Class Clown Comedy, he holds down a stressful full time job, takes care of his family, and performs standup throughout the week. He’s most recently won a contest by local Cleveland radio station Z107.9 where he was chosen to open for the legendary Eddie Griffin (as seen in the video below).
